Manila, Philippines – April 30, 2023— Fifteen (15) young micro-influencers and religious leaders came together for the Cyberpeace Fellowship Camp 2023 – Batch 1, a formation program that equips digital creators with the knowledge, skills, and values to promote peace and safety in online spaces.
The fellowship focused on building the capacity of youth and faith leaders to address challenges such as online hate, misinformation, cyberbullying, and polarization. Through workshops on storytelling, digital safety, interfaith dialogue, and peaceful communication, the participants explored how they can use their platforms to inspire empathy, bridge divides, and create meaningful conversations online.

The Cyberpeace Fellowship Camp is part of the Building a Culture of Cyberpeace program, led by the Teach Peace Build Peace Movement (TPBPM) in partnership with UNDP Philippines. The initiative seeks to empower young leaders and micro-influencers to be at the frontlines of digital peacebuilding in the Philippines.
